“Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world…”

June 24th, 2008 by Kafira

Kafira took a deep breath, got up off the floor, blinked, looked around and fell back on to the floor with a grateful thud.

The Holy men and women of The Exiles were doing their jobs and returning life to those who fell in the great battle …. Kafira included.

Going back over events in my mind ….Dladian leading the Northbound charge and our Master Hiddenshadow leading the South. I remember riding beside him and jumping off my mount as we neared Archimondes feet, pulling out my bow drawing back the first arrow …. then its all a blur

After the battles we had to push through, the waves of undead, the death the resurrection , the blood and the mess to get to that point, to be standing at his feet side by side with the best looking up and taking aim … it seems to have been too much to process in one go!

Archimonde the Defiler lay at Kafiras feet, her faithful pet slinking up beside her the two looked on at the dying flame and the allies, the friends, that lay scattered around the field.

The last thing I remember, the world whirled around me Archimonde, obviously fed up of the beating he was being given, blood running down his legs, arrows sticking out of his arm, blasts of power striking his chest and whole assortments of weapons clashing against him. All of a sudden he started a raging rampage, shots of death and destruction flowing from his fingertips. A few survived thanks to concoctions made but our skilled alchemists, and the quick thinking and sacrifice of a paladin. As I started to black out I could see those still alive taking damage and yet no pain no death. The Great Tree erupted with Ancestral Guardians roused by nature herself and started to move towards the demon

There was an explosion so large it incinerated the forests atop Hyjal, the world tree lay shattered and I could feel the loss of the Night Elves’ immortality, though had never tasted it before. The battle had been immense the loss had been even greater. I blacked out then.

Once her comrades were up and healthy enough to stand they gathered round together marveling at the achievement and at the loss

Suddenly a naked gnome shot between her feet, cheers and cries came from his mouth as he flaunted himself around both the male and females of the group. The sudden nakedness of the happy gnome bought people out of their shocked silence and suddenly the battleground was full of sound, full of cheers and somehow the dwarfs had managed to preserve alcohol through the ordeal!

While the drinks were being passed out, more for combating the shock of course, Kafira rummaged around the remains of the Arch Demon, she found some slightly battered armor and took the chestpiece for herself. A robe that felt as if it was full of power was handed to the warlock Cappa. Dladian for his efforts was rewarded with a Helm fit for a Vanquisher of his caliber. After a tussle between the naked gnome Kazzodlebam and less naked Vasilla, Kazz too ran off with a similar Helm to that of Dladians. Lastly the priestess Invisible and the slightly tiddly priest Lokiist battled it out for a Conquerers Helm themselves, Invisible won though no one was sure if the dwarf sat down and coincided it to her because he was being gallant or because he was drunk.

We made our way back to the portal, wishing for nothing more then to back in our own time, in our quarters somewhere a little less destroyed. Turning my back on the fallen body of Archimonde I followed the rest of the group away to the next battle

“And There Shall Come A Time…”

March 2nd, 2008 by Hiddenshadow

Well its been ages since I updated the front page so I thought now would be a good time to do it.

Since our last update the guild has managed to begin working on Kael (3/4 TK on farm) and has made excellent headway into Serpent Shrine in our hunt to slay Lady Vashj (3/6 SSC) with our most recent conquest being Fathom Lord Karathress last week (24 manned from start to finish).

A team of expert Ninja Killers also penetrated the heart of Zul Aman and did harsh murder there commit upon the Troll Lord Zuljin (ZA 6/6) well done to everyone involved in that, now begins the trial of the animal gods (lets get those bear mounts rolling in !!!).

The Dragon Killer Meets His Match

August 21st, 2007 by Hiddenshadow

So it came to pass that the valiant forces of The Exiles met with the Lord of the Gronn in battle, it was long a fierce and there where times when we thought he would never be defeated, he struck down our leader Falren Hiddenshadow, who was replaced by Dladian as the Dragon Killer began to rip into our shamans and rogues, soon only Vhara stood in close combat with the Ogre Lord, and in an impressive display of quickness managed to dodge many blows as the remaining mages and hunters where able to unload their energies into him before he fell to his death, as his corpse lay bleeding on the floor, Kafira could be heard whispering “thats my name bitch”.

House Dracmodor

House Dracmodor Symbol

As moonlight falls, the Darkling’s rise to serve their evil queen.
The world beyond is what they seek, the ever lasting dream.

Upon a time, as gods they where, walking on the land.
But with the seasons passing they’re but shadows in the sand.

So now my friend, listen close and always try to hear.
The whispers in the darkness call, they draw forever near.

The Archaeological Society

The AS was founded to survey ancient sites of historical value, and then recover whatever treasure and artifacts they may posess. The ASES (AS members), are archaeologists, adventurers, explorers and treasure hunters all rolled into one neat package.

The AS has currently identified many sites and excavations where potential rewards can be found, and will methodically explore them until it can salvage what it can from each one of them. After any discovery has been made, good care will be taken to ship any valuables found to a a safe place, like the AS own vault deep in the chambers of Ironforge or even the Explorers Hall for exhibition.

The AS is composed of very hardy folks, who have no qualms of dispatching any of the beings hoarding the treasure, who are in most cases up to no good and are very very very bad people.

OOC

First of all let me state that I am a happy member of [some guild full of nubs] and I plan on doing TBC endgame with them. So what is the AS then? Well, it is a raidgroup for already guilded folks that want to do the old endgame instances.

The thing is that I’ve got a little regret in that I was never able to do some of the old raid stuff. Sooo, I was wondering that maybe I could set up a Raidgroup sorta similar to the Teatime Raiders, but with the purpose of gathering people to do Blackwing Lair, AQ40 and Naxx (we could also do Molten Core and the others every now and then, but I would prefer we focused on those three as they are the most fun and the ones most people have not done).

I used to lead the Teatime Raiders, so I have experience in managing PUGs in endgame. In fact, with them we managed to kill Hakkar/Jin’do, Onyxia, 6 bosses of Molten Core and everything in AQ20 up to Ossyrian which I believe is quite impressive considering we changed people around all the time and were severely undergeared. Nowadays, with the extra levels and gear it should be even easier, and most importantly funnier!

Since I moved country I can now play at normal times, so raid times would be after 8/9pm depending on availability of players. We would always raid on days when we are not raiding the TBC instances with our respective guilds. Interested? Then go to the forum address below and sign up, takes a minute and it will guarantee you endless hours of fun!!

Kram is a good bloke, a good raid leader, Ill be taking part in this I hope other members of the guild will come with us and destroy AQ40 and Naxx.

Ok members and their divisions have been more or less separated as they should be and most the new guild banking features are ready to go.

The Exile Cells have also been announced here and the first mission briefing will be placed on the notice board on Sunday.
